GEZE UK's west end wonder

A luxury 'designer' glass entrance has been made to measure for 60 St Martin's Lane, adding a touch of GEZE glamour to the exciting mixed use scheme in London's fashionable West End.

GEZE UK's IGG bi-parting sliding door has been custom-made to the precise dimensions of the entrance, incorporating both the frame and the locks within the double glazing so it appears to be made entirely from glass. GEZE's unique 7cm drive unit, the Slimdrive SL-NT operator, is bolted directly to the glass, creating an ultra-modern, seamless effect, with no visible frames.

A top-of-the-range IGG door has also been installed with a manual swing door operator, to the right hand side of the entrance, providing access outside normal office hours. Together, the two doors provide both complete accessibility and security.

Aesthetically, the frameless double glazed system complements the traditional stone façade and columns at 60 St Martin's Lane, while practically, the seamless glass surface is easy to keep clean and maintain. By ensuring unparalleled transparency and unrivalled visual appeal at all times, the entrance is ideal for a prestigious headquarters or high quality office space.

Developed in partnership with leading architects from around the world, IGG is a bespoke system that integrates both frame and fitting systems between the two panes of glass, then conceals them with internal ceramic printing of the glass edges. The glass can be tinted to match the printing to provide a totally uninterrupted façade, giving architects the freedom to create glass structures without visible mechanical intrusions. Without the need to compromise functionality, architects can create elegant glass walls on a grand scale, incorporating swing, sliding or double-action doors seamlessly.
