GEZE's new charter champions customer service

A brand new Customer Service Charter has been launched by GEZE UK, the UK’s leading manufacturer of door and window control systems, during this year’s National Customer Service Week.

Announced by managing director Andrew Hall to all staff, the Customer Service Charter highlights GEZE UK’s commitment to customers and outlines the standards of service it aims to provide by setting out eight key values including respect, honesty, quality, teamwork and effective communication.

Endorsed by all employees, the Customer Service Charter will help everyone exceed the expectations of customers in all aspects of their roles. From listening carefully to customer needs, to being knowledgeable and accurate at all times, the Charter will be consistently enacted and staff will be continually monitored.

Eight ambassadors have volunteered to champion great customer service and look for ways to continue to enhance and improve processes and behaviour in their departments, ensuring the whole company is involved. They led a series of customer surveys and fundraising activities during National Customer Service Week, including a service-themed crossword and a dress-down day, raising more than £340 for the NSPCC and Cancer Research UK.

Andrew Hall said: “We’re committed to providing a high quality professional service which satisfies all customers’ requirements by giving clear, consistent, accurate and prompt information and we promise to work with our customers to continually monitor, assess, enhance and adapt our service.

By keeping the customer at the forefront of all our plans, decisions and actions, we can continue to lead the market by providing quality products with unbeatable service.”
